RECC Assurance Scheme
RECC Assurance Scheme — (for EEC Solar). Membership is a requirement of our on-going MCS accreditation. The RECC Assurance Scheme is the only TSI -approved code operating within the renewable energies industry.
NICEIC Domestic Installer
NICEIC Domestic Installer — the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK.
NICEIC Approved Contractor
NICEIC Approved Contractor — accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to EN 45011, general requirements for bodies operating product certification systems. This scheme is operated with independence and integrity, and focuses on the quality and safety of the final installation.
MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) — a mark of competence that demonstrates installation to the highest quality every time.
The Home Insulation & Energy Systems Contractors Scheme (HIES) is a consumer protection organisation covering the installation of renewable energy products. We ensure that consumers are dealt with professionally, courteously and sympathetically. Any products installed by HIES Members must be fit for purpose, installed professionally and come with comprehensive guarantees which are covered by specialist insurance providing consumers with a high level of protection.
GGFi insurance backed guarantee gives customers the safeguard of a secure guarantee that mirrors our obligations throughout the life of our guarantee. This is for home improvement work.
Trustmark — a Government-backed initiative to assist consumers to find a reliable tradesperson to make improvements and repairs inside and outside your home (for EEC Electrical — another sub-division of EEC Home Improvements).

FairTrades/HomePro, one of the UK’s largest providers of vetted tradesmen across the Home Improvement Sector works very closely with several of the biggest Competent Persons Scheme. FairTrades Association members are able to self-certify their glazing work through CERTASS, FENSA, Competent Persons Schemes.
