We now have an extension to our house which gives us a luxury shower room, a double garage, an enlarged hallway and a proper pitched roof to replace the previous leaky flat roof. We are delighted with everything and are so pleased that we selected EEC to make it all happen. Thanks to everyone at EEC that have worked so hard from start to finish.

Mr & Mrs. Smith
Mr & Mrs. Smith had a 4kw Solar Photovoltaic System installed, completed with black panels. Mr & Mrs. Smith will now start enjoying from the Government backed Feed-in-Tariff and Lower Energy Bills.
You will be pleased to know that the Solar Panel installation at the above address has produced 3212kWh in the first year; above your quoted figure.
The highest weekly total was 134.62units, and the lowest was 10.01 units.
The highest daily total was 23.45 units, and the lowest was 0.06 units.
There was 17 days where the reading was above 20kWh and 22 days below 1kWh.
It was not possible to see if there was any savings made on our electricity bills, as a result of installing the Solar Panels. The electric under floor heating in the kitchen failed early in the year, and cannot be rectified without ripping up the floor tiles! However, my direct Debit to Scottish Power has been reduced from £115 to £42 pound per month.

EEC installed a glass room extension and porch area for Mr & Mrs Mounsey. The brief given by the customer was for an extra area where the customers could sit and enjoy their surroundings with a sheltered area by the front door.
There was a lot of work involved to get this through planning as the property is located in the Lake District where the planning is more restricted. EEC had meetings with the planner and then carefully choose the materials to make the new extension building blend in with the existing property.
The walls were constructed from stone reclaimed from around the site, the frames installed were aluminium as is the roof which has opening roof lights and 2 tiled sections.
The job involved the removal of the existing stone retaining wall, concrete strip footings, new stone dwarf walls for the conservatory, tanking of the walls with self adhesive tanking membrane. We also laid a concrete flag floor and base, knocking through where existing window was to create access visa French doors. The aluminium frames and double glazed units were specially manufactured which suited the design of the building and incorporated 2 slate panels in the roof to blend in with the local buildings. Internally the conservatory was finished with some rustic wall lights and the walls were plastered, the porch area had a bespoke timber bench created from stone and local timber.
Mr & Mrs Mounsey noted that they were very happy and said that Roy Roberts was exceptional in the quality and dedication to his work and they also noted that Adam and Ewen were very good.
